Since Scott and Beth began catering in 1983, Shully's Cuisine & Events has been involved with fundraising events. We understand the great importance that fundraising has for our community and we will work with you to create a sensational event. Using our experience with hundreds of fundraisers, we can help you to create an entirely new event or work with you on your current fundraiser to ensure interest and success.
Shully's event coordinators know that for a fundraiser to be ultimately successful, it needs to be profitable. To reach your fundraising goals, it is important that your guests experience an inviting atmosphere, exceptional cuisine and enjoyable entertainment. However, Shully's also understands the financial limitations that fundraising groups sometimes have to work with. We welcome the challenge of working within a budget and employ creative ideas to minimize expense without sacrificing quality.
For years we have been trusted with many of Southeastern Wisconsin's most prestigious fundraisers. Proud of that accomplishment, Shully's Cuisine & Events continues to provide exceptional cuisine, dedicated staff and comprehensive planning services to support fundraising events.
Shully's Iron Fork Challenge is a fun, competitive and truly unique team building experience for your co-workers, friends or family. Using a format similar to Iron Chef Competitions as seen on Food Network, we divide your group into teams, announce the SECRET ingredient and it's game on!
Our chefs will prepare hors d'oeuvres, offer advice to teams, and judge the dishes. After each dish is scored, the teams may enjoy the competition dishes, or the chefs may prepare a separate menu for dining. The Iron Fork Challenge is a great idea for many types of parties, including corporate events, showers and engagement parties. The Challenge is held at Shully's, and the program is designed for 8- 16 guests.
Let's say your group arrives at 7:00 PM, cocktails & hors d'oeuvres (we'll prepare) are served for approximately 30 minutes. Teams can be formed at this time by you or we can do a random selection. After teams are formed, the entire group is taken into the Shully kitchen.
Shully's will provide a variety of general food items for the evening, including a secret ingredient, which will be shown at this time. Each team must incorporate the secret ingredient(s) into their menu. Each menu must have a salad course and a main course with a vegetable and starch. Shully's will prepare the desserts.
The teams will be given 75 minutes to compete. After that, the teams will be judged by Shully's own kitchen staff, and a winner will be declared. From there you may enjoy a three course meal prepared by Shully's chefs, and sample the other competitors' food.
In this unique experience, Scott’s “Chef Table” is located in the heart of his kitchen where the buzz of activity whirls around you as you relax and enjoy a fabulous meal. The Chef Table allows you to see some of Milwaukee’s best chefs in action! A selection of wines from Scott’s private cellar will compliment the evening’s menu. While you sit-back and enjoy the wine, we prepare your dinner right before your eyes. Scott Shully designs a menu of fresh fish, seafood, aged meats, and a few surprises to dance across your taste-buds. The Chef-Table dinner celebrates any special evening with grace, style, and good taste.
Our Chef Table dinner is served in the Euro-style of a pre-determined menu. The entire evening is organized by the Shully’s team so you can relax, entertain, and enjoy the sights, smells, and conversation. Number of guests can range from six to sixteen.
